If you follow me on any social media platform, it might be obvious that I’m one of those people who are always on the lookout for new places to hang out and eat. So when Cafe Caw posted about opening a new branch only 5 minutes from my place, I was beyond ecstatic.
Earlier this year, I was able to visit their main branch with my friends Riz and Eunice for a little celebration. And while it was a cute place and the food that we had was good, I was a bit turned off because most of the stuff on their menu wasn’t available. The place was small too which surprised me at first. But they did what they could with the space available and it was decorated in a way that won’t make you feel like you’re choking and in need of more space. Apart from that, nothing else really stood out for me, which explains why I wasn’t itching to go back.

This new branch is another story though. Their facebook page updated a few photos while they were doing finishing touches and it was obvious that it’s going to be bigger and better than the other branch. When they announced the date for the soft opening, I asked a couple of friends to go with me but everyone and their pets were busy. I normally don’t mind going out alone but this was one of those times that I really didn’t want to go and enjoy a new place by myself. Surprisingly, Riz asked me two days ago if I wanted to go and catch up at Cafe Caw on Monday (today!). We were supposed to meet up with Justine but she wasn’t able to make it because of a time constraint. Boo! 🙁

Riz treated me to a Warm Brownie Cup (great) and Chocolate Cloud (good) paired up with Dark Chocolate Truffle Milkshake (good). I don’t think having tried three of the offerings from their menu is enough for me to judge the entire place so I will talk more about it once I get to visit two or three more times. 🙂

Cafe Caw’s ambiance is great. I think a good way to describe it would be ‘lovely’. I’m sure even if the food ended up being mediocre most of us would still love to hang out here for the prettiness and coziness alone. 😛

I’m going to stop babbling now and just share the rest of the photos I took. I hope you’ll enjoy them. 🙂
